Farer Lomond II
The Lomond II offers a thoroughly modern take on the ever-popular field watch genre and puts legibility at the forefront. The watch has a gravel-textured navy blue dial, with custard yellow hour markers. There is a triangle at the 12 o’clock position with the classic 3,6,9 layout at the relevant hours. Each of these markers has a heavy application of X1 Super-LumiNova, making them easy to read under any circumstances. The sword-style hands are a textured battleship grey, and the seconds hand has a bright red tip. The sloped rehaut features white date numbers, except for the last four, which are red to highlight when the user may need to adjust the date during shorter months. The fourth hand in blue acts as a pointer to the date.
The result of these various elements is a watch that’s perfect for adventure. And, thanks to its robust 150m depth rating, sapphire crystal and excellent legibility, the Lomond can take whatever you throw at it.
